Adiprush is the first mythical film of Prabhas’ career. The film was produced by Bhushan Kumar on a huge budget and directed by Om Raut. The film is mainly based on the stories of “Aranyakanda” and “Yuddakanda” from Ramayanam. Prabhas will star as Sri Ram, Kriti Sanan as Sita, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana and Dev Dutt as Hanuman. A big pre-release event was held for the Telugu language version recently. Expectations were high with the release of the song “Shivoham” from the film some time ago.
Actress Kastri Shankar doesn’t seem impressed with the Adipurush poster featuring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and their team.
Ramayana actress Dipika Chiklia recently shared her disappointment with the cast, but the newest addition to that list is southern actress Kasturi Shankar.
Kasturi Shankar took to Twitter to criticize Prabhas, who played Lord Rama in the poster for Adipurush, for her mustache. She wrote: “Is there a tradition that Sir Ramzi and Luxman are depicted with mustaches and beards? Why this disturbing departure? Especially in Prabhas’ native Telugu, Sri Rama has been perfectly performed by legendary figures. I feel that Prabhas resembles Karna rather than Rama. #Adipurush”
Prabhas’ fans were not satisfied with Kasturi Shankar’s remarks and criticized her in her comments section.
