Tollywood director Parasuram Petla who directed movies such as ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Sarkaru Vaari Pata’ with Vijay Deverakonda and Mahesh Babu respectively also announced a film with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya long back but the film didn’t materialize for the reasons unknown and there were no updates from the makers later on.
Thereafter, we heard that Chay Akkineni left the project due to having some issues with the script as the director was reluctant to the changes asked by Chay.
Naga Chaitanya is currently busy promoting his upcoming bilingual film ‘Custody’ and the trailer of the film has been unveiled recently. The film’s trailer has been receiving good responses both from fans and critics for the intense action performed by Chay in the film.
Amid all the above, when a media person asked Chay about his pending film with Parasuram, he candidly replied that ‘the less we talk about it, the more we save time’. It makes no sense to talk about it again and again as there is nothing better to explain it as he already said enough about it.
A few on social media say that Chaitanya waited for a year for the director to return with the changes but that didn’t happen. To top it, the director reportedly ditched the ‘Custody’ actor for another Tollywood star. Which made Chay outburst to the above project’s question
