BJP’s plans appear to be changing in Telangana. Leaders who came to the Indian Bharatiya Janata Party from other parties look sideways because of the impact of Karnataka’s results. At the same time, the BJP’s national leadership intervened when there was disagreement between the leaders. Angry leaders are summoned to Delhi. Already Etala Ragender, Komati Reddy called Rajagopal Reddy to Delhi and inquired about the matter. They explained to the Supreme Command the problem of the fact that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s current strategy is not sufficient to combat the BRS. However, the lack of a satisfactory response from the high command left the leaders in a predicament.
Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party is in civil war. Now the controversy has reached Delhi. It was believed that there was a large influx into the BJP, but these efforts were unsuccessful.
The party leadership appears to have split between the Bandi Sanjay faction and the Etala faction. Some within the party are reportedly unhappy with Bandi Sanjay’s leadership. Some leaders have complained to the Bharatiya Janata Party Supreme Command about the replacement of the Bharatiya Janata Party leader in Telangana. With the Bharatiya Janata Party Supreme Command inaction, some leaders are rumored to be turning to other parties.
Mr Etala Ragender and Mr Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy met in Delhi with top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and consulted with the Bharatiya Janata Party High Command to make the final decision. Congress alleges that a settlement between the BRS and BJP is behind KTR’s appointment and Kavitha’s non-arrest in the alcohol case. Etala and Komatireddy say they joined the party to overthrow the BRS.
Both parties are planning to change parties and are ready to join parliament, although no clear assurance has been received from the BJP High Command.
