USA Premiere Collection Report: Pan-India star Prabhas is currently busy shooting four films, one of which is the big-budget film ‘Adipurush’. Directed by Om Raut, the film is in big preparations for its worldwide release on June 16th. Produced by Bhushan Kumar.
According to the latest reports, Adipurush is now heading towards his US$1 million premiere day in North America. Industry insiders also confirmed the same, posting on Twitter, “#Adipurush – for the $1 million North American premiere day.” The film had very strong pre-sales in the US on Monday, with the XD show in particular reportedly recording very good bookings wherever it opens.
Based on the Ramayana, the film Adiprush is produced by Tseries boss Bhushan Kumar and Retrofile. In this big-budget drama Adipursh directed by Om Raut and funded by Bhushan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Star, Krishan Kumar and Rajesh Nehru under the banner of T Series Films and Retrofils. Prabhas plays Raghava and Kriti Sanon plays Janaki. The film is directed by Karthik Palani and edited by Apurva Motiwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre.
It features Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, Sunny Singh talks about Lakshmana, Devdatta Naj as Vajran and Vatsar Sheth as Indrajit. Sonal Chohan and Thupti Toradomal play important roles in this film.
