Scotland are the second of two teams to have qualified for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the ongoing European Qualifying Tournament.
Scotland qualified for the 2024 T20 World Cup after beating Denmark in the 33rd round at Edinburgh’s Grange Cricket Club.
Scotland performed flawlessly throughout the tournament, winning games against Germany, Jersey, Italy, Austria and Denmark.
Scotland have 10 points from five games and the 2024 T20 World Cup tournament is just around the corner. Due to the cancellation of today’s match against Germany, they will join Ireland, who secured a spot earlier today, for the second round.
This has helped Scotland overcome the heartache of missing out on the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India.

Scotland started the tournament with his 72-point smash win (DLS method) over Germany . They followed up with a narrow 14-point victory over Jersey.
Italy had his best performance in the third leg, winning by 155 points after setting a big target of 245/2 on the board. The giants took another big win, this time 166 points ahead of Austria.
Qualification was finally confirmed today after beating a spirited Danish side who scored 33 runs in a match reduced to 18 overs per side due to rain.
