The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 European Qualifiers will be held in Scotland from 20-28 July.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND QUALIFICATIONS
His 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA will feature 20 teams for the first time, with 12 already securing spots to the flagship event doing.
20 teams are divided into 4 groups of 5 teams each.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight stage, and the remaining teams will be split into two groups of four each. The top two from each group advance to the semi-finals.
20 Teams are made up of:
Two host nations: USA and West Indies.
The top eight teams of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022: Australia, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
The top two teams in the MRF Tires ICC Men’s T20I Team Ranking as of 14 November 2022 are Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
8 regional finalists.
Regional Qualifiers include Qualifiers for the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and East Asia Pacific regions.
