Afghanistan include uncapped Abdul Rahman for Sri Lanka ODIs

Afghanistan have named uncapped all-rounder Abdul Rahman for the three-match ODI series in Sri Lanka starting June 2.
Rahman, who’s 21 and can bowl right-arm medium fast, makes it to the squad on the back of a strong showing in the Green Afghanistan One-Day Cup, where he represented Hindukush Strikers and returned two half-centuries and seven wickets across his last five List A games.
The 15-man squad, led by Hashmatullah Shahidi, also contains a strong spin contingent featuring the likes of Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Noor Ahmad, all of whom will be looking forward to honing their 50-over skills before the World Cup in India.
Afghanistan have directly qualified for the World Cup whereas Sri Lanka will have to go through the qualification round.
Squad: Hasmatullah Shahidi (C), Rahmat Shah (VC), Rahmanullah Gurbaz (WK), Ibrahim Zadran, Riaz Hassan, Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad Nabi, Ikram Alikhail (WK), Azmatullah Omarzai, Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Noor Ahmad, Abdul Rahman, Fazal Haq Farooqi and Farid Ahmad Malik.
Reserves: Gulbadain Naib, Shahidullah Kamal, Yamin Ahmadzai, and Zia ur Rahman Akbar
All the three ODIs between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will be played in Hambantota
