Shah Rukh Khan has unveiled a new Jawan poster showcasing the character of Nayantara. She stars in the villain avatar as a police officer brandishing a machine gun and looking stylish in black sunglasses. Javan is Nayantara’s Hindi film debut, co-starring Shahrukh. Sharing the poster on Monday, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “She is the thunder that comes before the storm! Nayanthara Jawan Prevue out now! Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.”
A fan commented on his post, “Women power.” Another said, “Can’t wait to see both of you together.” One more wrote, “This poster is fireeee!!” A fan also hailed Nayanthara as boss lady.
Nayanthara in Jawan Prevue
Nayanthara’s first glimpses from the film Jawan were seen in the Jawan Prevue that released last week. While she was looking pretty in a yellow saree in one scene, she was seen in a corporate look in an other. Then there were more scenes of her wielding a gun in the middle of an action scene.
The Jawan Prevue also had a surprise appearance by Deepika Padukone along with glimpses of Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi and others. The affair ended in an even bigger surprise when the bald Shah Rukh Khan was spotted dancing to an old tune during the subway hijacking scene. The film will be directed by Attlee and will be released in theaters on September 7th in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation, produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma.
Vignesh’s reaction to Nayanthara’s scene in ‘Jawang His
‘ On the day of the release of ‘Jawang Prevu’, Nayanthara’s husband, filmmaker Vignesh Sivan, praised the film on his Instagram story. A few days later, Shah Rukh tweeted, “@VigneshShivN, thank you for all the love. Nayantara is awesome…but oh who am I telling this to…you already know!!!
In replying to the post, Vignesh referred to Shah Rukh and Nayantara’s romantic scene in Javan. He tweeted, “You’re really kind, sir. Yes, I’m very cautious, but I heard that there’s a good romance between you two in the movie, which she learned from the king of romance. And I am already delighted with the good fortune of such a dreamy debut with you…”
