MUMBAI: Social media star and actor Kusha Kapila announced the news of her separation from her husband Zorawar Alwalia on Monday.
Kusha posted on Instagram, “Zorawar and I jointly decided to separate. It was never an easy decision but we know it’s the right one at this point in life. The love and life we’ve shared will continue to mean everything to us, but unfortunately it doesn’t match what we currently want of ourselves.
“The end of a relationship is heartbreaking and a severe test for us and our families. Luckily we had time to process this, but what we shared and built together took over a decade. We need even more time and healing to move on to the next phase of our lives. Our focus now is on getting through this time with love, respect and support for each other,” she added.
Kusha is a popular social media her influencer. On her Instagram she has over 3 million followers and on YouTube she has over 9,000 subscribers.
She also appeared in the movie Plan A Plan B directed by Riteish Deshmukh starring Tamanna Bhatia. The film premiered on OTT platform Netflix.
She has also appeared in web shows such as Masaba Maeba, Case Toh Banta Hai and Comicstaan.
Zorawar is also a social her media influencer on Instagram where she has 90,000 followers.
The two reportedly got married in 2017 after dating for several years.
