Gadar 2, helmed by Anil Sharma, stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma. The first song, Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava, of the film was released recently.
Gadar 2’s new song Khairiyat was released on Tuesday. In this 3-minute track of hers, Utkarsh gives us a glimpse into the life of Sunny her Diol and Amisha her Patel as she waits to meet her Sharma-played son. The video shows an emotional Sunny Duru (Tara Singh) driving on the roof of a bus over mountains and rivers while reading letters. At her home, Amisha (Sakeena) gets emotional while praying for her son. Meanwhile, her adult son Utkarsh (Charanjeet) remembers the happy times spent with her family.

The video does not show how Charanjeet was separated from his family. Sunny prays to every god on her journey to protect her son. Throughout the song, all three cry, remembering and praying for the good old days together. “Hairiyat” was composed by Mithun, with lyrics by Saeed Quadri and sung by Arijit Singh.
Gadar 2 First Song Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava
To bring back the magic and nostalgia of Tara and Sakina’s love story, the film crew recently re-engineered his legendary chart-busting Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava. The song quickly went viral on various social media platforms, drawing huge amounts of love and appreciation from fans. The song was choreographed by the highly accomplished Shavina Khan.
The original song was sung by musical masters Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, and the new version of the song has been rewritten and re-arranged by Mithun. Wood Jah Kare Kaava was originally composed by Uttam Singh and the lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi.
