Farhan Akhtar posted a photo with his entire family during his eldest daughter Shaka’s conscription ceremony at Lancaster University. The portrait shows his wife Shivani Dhandekar, ex-wife Aduna Bhabani, father Javed Akhtar, wife Shabana Azmi and ex-wife Hani Irani (Farhan’s mother).

Farhan posted a photo on his Instagram account on Tuesday. His first photo shows him and his entire family including Javed Akhtar’s wife and his ex-wife.
The same carousel also has a video of Shaka receiving her college degree on stage. In three other photos, Shaka is seen posing with his parents Farhan and Aduna, grandfather Javed and grandmother Honey.
Farhan captioned, “Congratulations to our graduate, Shaka. What a proud moment to be there as a family to celebrate your success.” The world is yours. @akiraakhtar @zoieakhtar #lancasteruniversity #batchof2023.”
Farhan noted in the caption that two members of her family, her sister and film director Zoya Akhtar, and her second daughter, Akira Akhtar, were not attending the reunion.
In the comments section of , Zoya commented, “FOMO!!!!!” Happy Birthday, Shakalaka Baby! You are the smartest person in your family. Farhan’s Rock On co-star Arjun Rampal also made his wishes known. He wrote: “Dear Buddha, my sincerest congratulations. Wishing you happiness and love for your bright future.” Producer Praja Kapoor, wife of Rock On director Abhishek Kapoor, and costume designer Anaita Shroff Adjania also commented on the post, “Congratulations.” Other celebrities who have sent love via emoji include music composer Ankur Tewari and actors Abhishek Bachchan and Priti Zinta, who co-starred with Farhan in Dil Chafta Hai (2001) and Raksha (2004).
Farhan’s Family
Farhan met his ex-wife Aduna, his hairdresser, on the set of his directorial debut, Dil Chafta Hai. They got married in 2000 but divorced in 2017. They have two daughters, Shakya and Akira. Farhan married actor Shivani Dhandekar last year. His father Javed Akhtar married screenwriter Honey Irani and later married actress Shabana Azmi.
