Everything you need to know about ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’

Helmed by Sameer Vidwans, the film is all set to hit the theatres on June 29

MUMBAI: Actors Karthik Aryan and Kiara Advani are currently busy promoting their new romantic musical drama Satyaprem Ki Katha.

The film, directed by Samir Vidwanz, is set to hit theaters on June 29th. The film marks the second collaboration between Kartik and Kiara, following their blockbuster horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

The creator of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ has released the official trailer for the film and four of his compositions, which were well received by the audience.

The trailer introduces Kartik as SatyaPrem and Kiara as Katha. Kartik is seen aiming for marriage, trying to impress Kiara. The two are planning to get married. Kiara and Kartik then go through many difficult experiences together.

When talking about the songs in the film, the creators first introduced the romantic title “Naseeb Se”. Composed by Payal Dev, this song was beautifully sung by Payal Dev and Vishal Mishra. Text by AM Turaz.

Enchanting images and melodies will surely captivate the audience. The song marks the chemistry between Karthik and Chiara, ushering in the season of love returning to theaters after a long vacation.

After that, the creator released a romantic title “Aaj Ke Baad” sung by Manan Bhardwaj and Tulsi Kumar. The song was well received by the audience.

Gujju Pataka and Sun Sajni were the third and the fourth songs of the film.
Recently, at the launch of the Garba song Sun Sajni, Kartik said it was one movie in which he has felt proud at every stage — from the narration of the script to the final filming.

He said, “Creative discussions and all take place because the film is extremely precious for us. I think in my entire career I havent ever been this involved in a film as much as I have been in Satyaprem Ki Katha because I really believe in the subject and I feel proud to be a part of Satyaprem Ki Katha. I think in my filmography maybe this is one film in which I have felt proud in every frame of the film, which i dont know why but on a story level and from the beginning, the first day, when the first narration happened until now when we are on the stage i still have that proud feeling.”

Kartik added, “We get attached to things and that causes agreements and disagreements, in somethings it happens a lot when you are really attached to something, you feel like this is precious and this should be presented in the best way possible. We’re all crazy about this movie, but it’s unreal. And I think you will find with great difficulty what we found in Satyaprem Ki Katha.

‘Sun Sajni’ offers a glimpse into some of Galba’s great celebrations. It’s the first time viewers have seen Kartik and Kiara play Garba, and their fiery chemistry can’t be missed in this dance number.

“San Sajini” is sung to the music of Meat Brothers, Parampara Tandon and Piyush Mefrolya.
