MUMBAI: Good news for Bollywood lovers who have been waiting for an update on Project K co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Prabha.
According to Variety, his highly anticipated big-budget Indian sci-fi film will premiere in exclusive footage at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in the presence of talent.
To kick off the SDCC celebrations, Vijayanti Movies will allow fans to watch the film at his opening party on July 19th.
On July 20th, the film crew will host a panel discussion with Deepika, Prabhas and Haasan titled “This is Project K: First Look at India’s Mythical Sci-Fi Epic”. Variety reports that the movie’s release date will be revealed.
Interestingly, the stars will also perform on the main stage of his SDCC.
“This exclusive event will invite guests to India’s most ambitious cinematic universe with immersive storytelling, futuristic settings and a cinema-inspired ‘Spice Punk’ aesthetic. We’ll take you,” the producers said in a statement.
Coach Ashwin was also enthusiastic.
He said: “We are thrilled to debut Project K at San Diego Comic-Con. Indian storytelling traditions have ancient roots and her epics have been the origins of many civilizations around the world. A big world needs a big platform to introduce it to people. Comic-Con seemed like the perfect place to find the honesty and enthusiasm Project K needed.
