Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the warm reception to her latest film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar.
Karan Johar’s film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’ has received positive reactions from critics and audiences since its release on 28th July. On Monday, Alia Bhatt, who stars in the film as Lani Chatterjee, took to Instagram to thank everyone for loving the film.

Alias posted a photo on Instagram with her co-star Ranveer Singh and director Karan Johar. Both Ranveer and Alia were twins dressed in white, while Karan opted for an orange t-shirt on the back. The three smiled at the camera and posed while holding each other down.
Aria wrote in the caption, “Love is high to sub high!!!” From the bottom of my heart…thank you for all the love…I will be forever grateful! (yellow heart emoji) Love, Rocky, Lani and the creators of this Kahani (story),” he added to the hashtag, along with the film’s title.

So far On Sunday, Dharma Productions shared the film’s box office figures on social media. “A celebration of love is getting bigger and bigger at the box office. Can’t stop premiering ‘Rocky Owl Rani Kii Prem Kahani’!” the production company captioned the post on Twitter. According to initial estimates, the film grossed a net 19 billion at the box office on its third day in India. It collected 11.1 billion rupees on its first day of release and 16.05 billion rupees on its second day. After three days, the total cost of the film was Rs 460 crore.
About Rocky His Rani Kii Prem Kahani
This movie is a love story of Rocky (Ranveer Singh) and Rani (Alia) who belong to different backgrounds and cultures. In the film, Ranveer plays Rocky, a fitness enthusiast from a Punjabi family, while Rani, played by Alia, is a journalist from a Bengali family. Also starring Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
The Hindustan Times film review added: Jhumka and Dhindhora Baje Re are outright party tracks, while Tum Kya Mile and Ve Kamlya are soul-stirring songs. I loved the homage to the classics and hymn to the old charm of Bollywood music by Mohd Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bongsure and Lata Mangeshkar.
